JASON BURGESON

Date of Birth: 2-15-80
Age at Death: 20 years old
Home State: MA

"You will always mean the world to me, and the world is a big place. So when you think I'm not there, not listening, not with you, I am" ~ Jason wrote this in a card he gave me in 1999

Occupation: Student, but he was taking some time off to earn some money and get some direction in life

Hobbies: writing, DJing, making and listening to music, skiing, "charging," ice hockey, road trips, dancing (at clubs), and enjoying everything life had to offer

Other: Jason was just one of those people you couldn't stay mad at. He had a mulititude of friends from all over, and many younger students even idolized him. Jason loved everything about living, and it spread to the people around him. He almost always had a "grand plan," and, whatever it was at the time, he passionately believed he would accomplish it. He wanted to revolutionize the music industry and find "the one" to spend the rest of his life with.

Scholarship Fund:

A scholarship fund made in Jason's name gives scholarships to deserving students graduating from Apponequet Regional High School (Lakeville, MA) who are pursuing a career in mass communications. (See below for list of winners.) Donations for this fund may be sent to:
